Laboratory Technician - Plant/Greenhouse

Required QualificationsB.A./B.S./associate’s degree in plant biology, Soil Science, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, or a related areaExperience conducting laboratory bioassays in an R&D settingExperience conducting greenhouse trials assessing plant growth and developmentStrong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skillsSelf-motivated with strong organizational skills, detail-orientation, and a desire to work in a dynamic laboratory environmentExperience with scientific record keeping and familiarity with common software applicationsThe ability to occasionally lift and move heavy objects (25-50 lbs)Preferred Qualifications 2+ years’ experience in a lab and/or greenhouse environmentExperience conducting experiments involving agricultural biologicals in a lab and/or greenhouse environmentExperience using track spraying equipment for foliar treatmentsFamiliarity with lab equipment and data collection
