ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON opportunity in Michigan!2/1/2018 & ongoing5-10 days a month for the foreseeable future.Call coverage 24/7 and respond to calls from the ED at Pennock and perform proceduresSupport staff include ED and OR support, also two other ortho surgeons in call rotation.Patients/day varies, but scope is generally limited to ED patients with fractures. 10% Peds, 40% Geriatrics and 50% Adult Med.MI DEA requiredBC in Ortho Surgery is preferred, but not required.Prefer a well trained general orthopedic surgeon licensed in the state of Michigan.Must have completed residency or fellowship in orthopedic surgery.Recent completed residencies from a good program are acceptable.Must be comfortable doing surgery on hip fractures and other fracture types.
