Performance Management Specialist
Job SummaryThe Performance Management Specialist is responsible for the overall coordination of the performance management processes for employees represented by UUP, CSEA, PEF, and PBA NYS, plus Management/Confidential and Research Foundation employees.What You'll DoProvide reports to Human Resources and Hospital Administration regarding the completion and compliance rates for performance evaluations.Work closely with Employee Labor Relations for employee performance issues, providing consultative support and detailed timelines.Provide support and coordination of performance management documentation for hospital and departmental audits and surveys.Assist with education and training of SUNY Upstate supervisors and staff, which includes participation in performance management training modules.Serve as a resource for Upstate department heads, supervisors, and staff on procedural matters, answering questions relating to deadlines, notice requirements, and other performance management questions.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and two years of related experience required. Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills required.Preferred QualificationsPublic sector and/or healthcare environment experience preferred.
