Patient Representative SpecialistThe Patient Representative Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and their families. They will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for answering questions, scheduling appointments, and providing information about the facility and services offered. The Patient Representative Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining patient records and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Answering phone calls and emails from patients and their familiesScheduling appointments and coordinating with other departments as neededProviding information about the facility and services offeredMaintaining patient records and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely mannerAssisting with insurance verification and billing as neededResolving patient complaints and concerns in a professional and timely mannerPerforming other duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programsExperience in a healthcare setting preferredBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
