For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com (opens in new window) or follow on Carrier social media at @Carrier.As the Commercial HVAC Solutions Sales Specialist for Controls, you will be responsible for pursuing large opportunities that help our customers modernize their equipment pursuing opportunities for both plan/spec and design/build or direct-to-owner projects.This role is a great fit for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and have outstanding customer service. This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and are adept at handling large mechanical customer projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPresent at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunitiesDemonstrate expertise in Commercial HVACPromote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutionsManage complex multi service solutions proposalsUtilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities and opportunity pipelineDemonstrate well developed sales skills to include expert awareness, commercial acumen and integritySeek out and access new Modernization opportunities both with existing customers and new prospect customersEstablish and build credibilityDevelop and sustain customer relationshipsCreate compelling presentations and communicate effectivelyDetect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordinglyManage multiple activities all occurring at the same time, organize others and workflow to meet objectives on timeAnticipate future trends accuratelyAdapts quickly in face pace environment to gain the order/booking in a timely mannerConsistently achieve sales metrics and annual targetsCreate high quality timely estimates, bids & proposals including detailed cost benefit analysis to support client's business case for investment.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED 3+ Years of experience selling B2B within the HVAC, building controls, or building automation industryMust be able lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, be comfortable working on roofs/platforms Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degreeExtremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers Ability to sell directly to end user customer Previous experience in selling service agreements Demonstrates ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customers Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment Demonstrated ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customers Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to proactively sell preventative repair / upgrade packages Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually.
