FPGA Design/Verification EngineerLocation- Sunnyvale, CA; Houston, TX or Denver, COThis program requires US CitizenshipAs an ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer you will have the opportunity to support over 50 different programs and research and development (R&D) efforts. Your work will affect technology across military space, civil space, commercial space, missiles, missile defense platforms, satellite surveillance platforms, deep space exploration, and manned flight missions.Daily FunctionsWork with low SWaP, radiation hardened, space rated devices.Develop RTL/VHDL code, scripts, and other items required for the development of FPGAs, complete design and development, and provide self-test designer level testbench.Collaborate with the LM engineering team to debug or simulate Circuitware with Xilinx development tools, deliver FPGA RTL source code changes, test data and documentation as needed.Work with systems engineers and design engineers to develop concept of operations, design requirements, and assist verification engineers in the verification of FPGA designs.Attend team meetings and reviews as needed.Complete or contribute to the design documentation in accordance with Lockheed Martin processes.All data and drawings must remain exclusively on Lockheed Martin Space internal networks or computing resources and protected according to guidance or training.RequirementsBachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.Experience synthesizing and building designs based on Microchip and Xilinx/AMD FPGA targets:UltraScale PlusRT PolarfireVersalRTG4Experience with Libero, Vivado, and Synopsys Tools (Simulation, Lint/CDC, and Synthesis).Design experience using the following languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL.Quick learner, someone who can get up to speed quickly with current designs.Ability to quickly understand requirements documentation.Experience with debugging designs both in the lab and in simulation environment.Willingness to work with other teams to debug designs.Experience with Space Wire.Willingness to work on Circuitware document for milestone review prep (Requirements documentation, analysis, presentation materials).Experience using Python.Position Details:Pay Rate / Range: $89-$110/hrThe above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.Benefits (Regular, Full Time Employees):Medical, Dental, and Vision offeringsWeekly Direct DepositPaid Holidays and Personal Time Off401(k) with matchVoluntary Life and AD&D, Short / Long Term Disability, plus other voluntary coveragesPre-Paid Legal and Employee Assistance ProgramsNorthwest Federal Credit Union MembershipBB&T @ Work Program
