Responsibilities
Operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate parts.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise execution of machining tasks.
Conduct thorough quality checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments to maintain quality standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot machining equipment to ensure continuous optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and uphold stringent quality standards.
Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Share expertise with junior machinists, offering guidance and best practices to foster skill development and teamwork.
Qualifications
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Manual Machinist.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Preferred Skills
Technical degree or certification in machining.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
