Provide direct patient care and support the nursing care delivery model. Document patient care and progress toward outcomes following established documentation guidelines. Model professionalism in practice and identify areas for clinical growth. Maintain a patient-centered care environment, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and coworkers. Follow National Patient Safety Goals, utilizing proper identifiers and safety protocols. Assess and address the specific needs of surgical patients, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
