Floor Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning and floor care, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and safety in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring that all flooring surfaces are properly cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of various floor types, including carpet, tile, and grout. Execute specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Detail corners and edges Maintain cleanliness in custodial areas and ensure all equipment is stored properly after use. Follow environmental services protocols to promote a safe and healthy environment for all occupants. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential. Knowledge of carpet cleaning methods and products is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to schedules.
