Final Test Technician II

ApplyDescriptionThe Final Test Technician II position is responsible for Acceptance Testing for a wide variety of Military, Space-Flight, and Hi-Rel products. The Final Test Technician II is also responsible to assist in coordinating monthly test schedules to meet shipping needs.This position requires the ability to follow detailed written test instructions referencing technical drawings and schematics. This position requires the use, set-up, and analysis of a wide variety of Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental Exposure equipment. Employee may be asked to perform other duties as required and the responsibilities of the position are subject to change.Essential Functions:Perform Acceptance Testing for Military, Commercial, and Hi Reliability Aerospace productsProvide timely nonconformance reportsProvide daily electronic updates about status of product under test.Read/understand product design documentation (Parts Lists, Drawings, Source Control Documents, etc)Read, understand, and execute detailed test proceduresHandle, transport, set up, and operate product in a manner safe for both operator and productOperate test equipment such as, but not limited to Automated Test Equipment, Centrifuge, Digital Multimeters, Micrometers,Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Thermal/Thermal Vacuum Chambers, Torque Tools, Vibration TablesDocument test setups and record results of test procedures.Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Adhering to BEI's safety and security policies.Daily time keeping using BEI's Visibility system.Work with limited supervisionRequirementsEducation/Experience:Minimum Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical field or EquivalentOR3+ years experience in Product Acceptance TestingOther:Prior experience operating DMM's, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Calipers/Micrometers, Torque Tools, Scales, and Thermal ChambersAbility to read Mechanical & Electrical Schematics
