Marine Technician / Boat Mechanic (Experienced or Apprentice) – $18 to $35 per hourGreenwood Lake Marina & Boat Club is hiring Marine Technicians at all experience levels to join our busy full-service team on beautiful Greenwood Lake.Whether you're an experienced Marine Mechanic or a motivated apprentice looking to grow into a career, we want to talk to you! All training and manufacturer certifications (Honda, Mercury, Yamaha) are paid for by the company.We are looking for motivated Marine Technicians to support our service department. This is a great opportunity for both experienced mechanics and those starting out in the marine industry. Pay is based on experience and skill level.**Key Responsibilities:**Diagnose, repair, and maintain inboard, outboard, and sterndrive enginesPerform engine tune-ups, scheduled maintenance, and fluid servicesTroubleshoot electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systemsAssist with or lead haul-outs, winterizations, spring recommissioning, and shrink-wrappingEnsure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfactionKeep shop and work areas clean and organized**Requirements:**For Experienced Mechanics: 3+ years of marine or automotive mechanic experienceFor Apprentices: Previous mechanical experience (auto, small engine, or marine) preferred but not required – strong work ethic and eagerness to learn is a mustStrong mechanical aptitude and desire to work on boatsAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationValid boater’s license (or willing to obtain within 3 months)Must obtain Honda, Mercury, & Yamaha Certifications (paid by company – timeline based on level)✅ Pay range: $18 – $35 per hour (depending on experience and skill)✅ Year-round full-time position at a long-established family-owned marina✅ Paid training and certifications✅ Opportunity for rapid advancementLocation: 538 Lakeside Rd, Hewitt, NJ 07421Apply Now: https://greenwoodlkmarina.com/apply/Benefits:401(k)Health insuranceWork Location: In person
