Transportation Engineer

One Tech Engineering is looking for a Transportation Engineer located in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The Transportation Engineer will be responsible for the coordination and project management of town, county, and WI DOT projects.The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience.Transportation Engineer ResponsibilitiesLocal candidates preferred. This is not a remote position.Work with team to update and establish DOT Cad standards and processes.Provide design on WI DOT projects including Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP), State Transportation Program (STP Rural/Urban/Bridge) projects, and On System (State Highway and Bridge) projects.Mentor and provide guidance to team members working on DOT projects.Build relationships with current and future clients.Attend seminars, conferences, and training sessions.Willing to work across other disciplines within the company.Take an active approach in expanding the role and presence of the Transportation Team.Requirements for the Transportation Engineer:Bachelor’s Degree and PE certification.8+ years of related experience.An understanding of WisDOT FDM Process.AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills.Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
