Job Title: Cookie/Brookie Technician (Night Shift)Department: ProductionLocation: 515 Weaver St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151Reports to: Senior Production Manager or Production Floor SupervisorPay: $17.25/HRSchedule: M-F 6:00PM-3:30AM NIGHT SHIFTJOB SUMMARY:This position is responsible for producing high-quality, ready-to-sell cookies and brookies (cookie + brownie combination), with a primary focus on the preparation, baking, and packaging of these items. Responsibilities include mixing, portioning, assembling, sorting, slicing, and packaging finished cookies and brookies, while ensuring consistency and product quality. The role also includes assisting with cake production, including icing, smoothing, and decorating as needed.Additional duties involve operating packaging, slicing, and mixing equipment, palletizing products, and inspecting and labeling items to meet quality standards. Employees are expected to maintain strict food safety and quality practices, with particular attention to the handling and presentation of cookies and brookies, and to promptly report any safety or quality concerns.This role requires efficiency in a fast-paced production environment, clear communication with team members, and the safe use of tools such as knives when necessary. Employees must follow all company safety, GMP, and behavioral policies and be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, frequent use of hands and arms with some reaching, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
