Weare currently seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join our West Coast SalesTeam in Santa Clara, CA.RESPONSIBILITIES:Our customer's ultimate success depends on our ability to solve cutting edgeproblems in relation to interconnect solutions. We value our relationships withthese companies, and we depend on our Sales and Field Applications EngineeringTeams to foster this ongoing partnership.As a Field Applications Engineer you will interface with our customers, andinternal product development, product marketing, and sales teams.Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of thesales cycleProvide technical marketing support for the development and implementationof Amphenol productsPrepare materials and participate in product presentationsProvide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems andtechnical inquiriesHelp devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from ourcompetitorsMeet and exceed strategic objectivesSome travel will be required.Amphenol is a results driven company that allows its employees a large degree offreedom to achieve pre-defined goals. The role of FAE givesan excellent insight into the Sales, Marketing and Product Development functionsof the organization.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer EngineeringMinimum of 5 years displayed experience providing product marketing andsales technical support to produce design winsExperience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office ProductsSKILLS:Ability to effectively communicate across the engineering and managerialfunctions of a businessStrong organization and presentation skillsHigh level customer service and ability to build relationships withcustomersModeling tools (Pro E or Solidworks)Microsoft Office ProductsThe base salary range for this position is $80,750 - $148,870 USD annually. Indetermining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatoryfactors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industryexperience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for anindividual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Basesalary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includesparticipation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, andvision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paidholidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K. OurField Applications Engineers are also eligible to participate in an annualincentive bonus program and provided with a company vehicle.
