If you have a passion for earth moving equipment, and want to be part of a world class team, apply today!Monday - Friday dayshiftStarting at $25- $35/hr depending on experienceResponsibilitiesProvide technical service to construction equipment.Read job order, observe and listen to machine in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examinedExamine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.Test repaired equipment to ensure it runs smoothlyTag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerkAttend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.Properly complete the service and/or repairs as assigned by supervisor.Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship.Maintain your assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.Show the utmost courtesy to all customers and dealership personnel.Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.Adhere to manufacturer's policy and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications.Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.Qualifications1-year fleet or dealership experience preferred.Been employed in the diesel industry for at least 2 years heavy equipment or diesel experience.High school diploma or equivalent is required.Be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.Be self-motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner.Have experience with high pressure common rail fuel systems, exhaust after-treatment, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulic systems.Must have own inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.A two year technical degree may be used in lieu of 2 years of verifiable technical employment.Physical RequirementsDexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 poundsRegularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects.
