GCP Java Developer
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with GCP expertise to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend technologies like Angular, along with hands-on exposure to GCP services.This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in production support environments, where diagnosing and resolving complex issues is critical. The candidate should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and contributing to both development and support activities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring BootBuild responsive and dynamic user interfaces using AngularDevelop and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Work with Node.js for backend services and integrations where requiredImplement event-driven architecture using Apache KafkaParticipate in production support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolutionMonitor application performance and ensure high availability and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product teamsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practicesContribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processesContinuously optimize applications for performance and scalabilityRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in Java development (8+ years preferred)Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices ArchitectureHands-on experience with Angular (frontend development)Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Solid understanding of Apache Kafka (event-driven systems)Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environmentsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills (must-have)Experience handling production support / incident managementProficiency in REST API development and integrationFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
