Public Safety Dispatcher - 18+

Overview: $16.00/ HRJoin the Public Safety team as a Dispatcher and help ensure effective communication and response across the park. We offer flexible scheduling!Responsibilities: Answer incoming phone calls and extract vital information from the caller. These calls may include needs for onsite security, safety, and EMS.Dispatch appropriate personnel based off of units locations and call type.Monitor radio traffic on multiple channels and record pertinent information to input into a CAD system.Monitor fire and security alarm systems, as well as surveillance cameras.Communications with outside emergency response agencies as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by Public Safety Leadership.Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of ageDemonstrate excellent oral communication skills, including speaking clearly and distinctlyAble to simultaneously handle multiple tasks in an efficient mannerGood organizational and follow through skillsAbility to remain calm under stressful situationsComputer experience, including Office 365, and typing efficientlyPreferred: Experience as a public safety dispatcher, and/or knowledge of Six Flags St. LouisMust be professional, self-motivated, and have an enthusiastic attitudeMust have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
