Our team is committed to craftsmanship, safety, integrity, and long-term customer relationships.Position SummaryJD Rivet Roofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent / QC Manager to oversee daily field operations and ensure all roofing installations meet the highest standards for quality, safety, productivity, and manufacturer compliance. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating jobsite logistics, conducting quality control inspections, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and leak free. Projects include commercial flat roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Coatings) as well as steep slope roofing systems including Metal, Slate, and Asphalt Shingles throughout the Northeast region.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise roofing crews and support Foremen in daily field operationsCoordinate manpower, materials, equipment, cranes, and site logisticsConduct pre-job walkthroughs to identify safety, access, and production concernsPerform ongoing quality control inspections throughout all phases of installationEnsure all roofing systems are installed per manufacturer specifications and warranty requirementsEnforce OSHA and company safety standards on all jobsitesMonitor labor productivity, material usage, and project performanceResolve field-related technical issues and installation discrepanciesTrain and mentor Foremen and Installers to improve efficiency and workmanshipMaintain professional communication with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and field teamsEnsure accurate daily reporting, progress photos, and field documentationRequirementsQualifications5+ years of commercial roofing experience requiredSupervisory or Foreman leadership experience preferredStrong knowledge of TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Roof Coatings, Metal, Slate, and Shingle roofing systemsOSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferredManufacturer certifications are a plusAbility to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbsProficient with smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft OfficeBenefitsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)Health benefits and 401(k)Opportunity to work on high-profile commercial roofing projectsStrong team environment with opportunities for advancementVeteran-friendly company culture
