Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our growing retail team in the Columbus, Ohio area. This role is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing the flow of garments and raw materials to support merchandising and production needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, is highly organized, and excels at cross-functional collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Place and manage purchase orders for garments and raw materials with both domestic and international vendorsMonitor order status, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any supply chain disruptionsPartner closely with merchandising, production, and logistics teams to align purchasing activities with business needsMaintain accurate records of orders, pricing, and vendor communicationsAnalyze inventory levels and demand forecasts to support purchasing decisionsCommunicate effectively with suppliers to negotiate timelines, pricing, and quality expectationsIdentify and resolve issues related to delays, quality concerns, or discrepanciesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or Fashion Merchandising2+ years of experience placing orders for garments and/or raw materials (domestic and international)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and prioritiesProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly with internal teams and external partnersHigh attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferredPreferred Attributes:Experience in retail, apparel, or fashion-related industriesAbility to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement#INAPR2026 #LI-AS7 #LI-ONSITE
