Construction Project Manager

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Job description: Company: Quadrant (Real Estate Development and Construction) Job Title: Construction Project Manager Job Type: New Ground-Up Multi-Family Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight and Management: Lead overall planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes to ensure successful project completion. Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with company objectives. Coordination and Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact between ownership, architects, engineers, consultants, and field staff. Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to review progress, challenges, and next steps. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective collaboration across all project participants. Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and review cost reports to keep projects within financial targets. Approve invoices, change orders, and subcontractor payments while ensuring accuracy and accountability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks that could impact profitability. Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Ensure projects meet quality standards, contractual obligations, and customer expectations. Anticipate potential risks or delays and implement proactive solutions. Conduct regular site visits to verify adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project records, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes. Provide consistent updates and progress reports to executive leadership and ownership. Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce job site safety practices in accordance with OSHA and company standards. Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and project-specific requirements. Lead safety reviews and foster a culture of accountability across project teams. Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and partners. Effectively manage client expectations and deliver projects that meet or exceed satisfaction. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience managing ground-up construction projects (multi-family experience preferred). Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contracts. Proficiency in project management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure. Physical Requirements: Ability to visit active job sites, including exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Ability to walk, stand, and move through construction areas as required.
