Dockworker/Forklift Operator Early Morning ShiftBSP Trans, Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.We have immediate openings for our Early Morning Dockworker/Forklift Operator position, Full Time – Mon thru Fri – 3:00 AM - 11:30 AM$22.00 - $23.00 Per hour What you will do on a typical shift:Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freightUse appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by handSecure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and suppliesWork in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policiesWork on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods of time and may be slipperyLift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionallyBe able to do math with and without a calculatorWhat you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:Strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment with great communication skillsTo be at least 18 years of ageForklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environmentIt would be great if you also have:Dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industryExperience loading and unloading trailersDesire to succeed with a strong attention to detailBenefits for FT Employees Include:Generous Vacation PolicyHolidays – 7 per year Medical Plan – 75% funded by companyDentalVisionLife insurance company paidShort Term Disability company paidFSA/DCA (flexible spending account/dependent care reimbursement account)401(k) Plan with company matchProudly family-owned and operated since 1882.
