Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview Due to retirement we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities team in ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our long term care facilities. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage maintenance activities, oversee repair procedures, and uphold safety regulations to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a passion for driving continuous improvement for the residents. Duties Coordinate daily maintenance operations, including daily general repairs, mechanical systems repair, boiler, electrical systems troubleshooting, plumbing system maintenance, and HVAC system repair. Manage facilities maintenance program to foster a high-performance work environment. Oversee the implementation of maintenance repair procedures to track work orders and maintenance history. Conduct troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting safety audits, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining accurate safety records. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by coordinating resources, scheduling tasks, and ensuring timely completion. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs while adhering to safety standards and industry best practices. Perform outside lawn care and snow removal. Assist with transportation needs of residents and facility needs. Acquire maintain CPR certified. Project control of new building expansion in 2027. Involvement of CMS and state rules and regulations and annual surveys. Experience Proven team player but also self sufficient. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, boilers, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment. Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices including troubleshooting engineering issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety procedures in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience managing projects related to facilities management with a focus on efficiency improvements and compliance standards.
