Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining proper beverage presentation Process cash and card transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly Upsell menu items, wine pairings, and specials to maximize sales opportunities and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service in a fine dining setting Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to foster a welcoming environment Skills Extensive experience with food service operations in restaurant settings, including fine dining environments Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for sales transaction processing Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently Culinary experience or food industry background preferred for understanding menu items and food handling procedures Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety practices, and proper food handling techniques Previous experience in roles such as host/hostess or cashier is advantageous for providing comprehensive guest services Join us in creating memorable dining experiences where energy meets excellence!
