Project Specific Superintendent

Position Summary: The Project-Specific Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field leadership, coordination, and execution of a designated construction project from mobilization through closeout. This role serves as the primary on-site leader, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and company expectations. The Project-Specific Superintendent oversees field operations, coordinates with project management and client representatives, and proactively addresses jobsite challenges to maintain productivity and project momentum. This position is accountable for site safety compliance, workforce coordination, material and equipment planning, schedule execution, quality control, and maintaining strong communication between the field and office teams.The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader with strong organizational skills, sound decision-making ability, and the capacity to lead field teams while balancing project priorities, changing site conditions, and client expectations. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, profitably, and with a high level of professionalism.This is a project-assigned role, meaning the superintendent is dedicated to the successful execution of a specific project or defined group of related project scopes, with focus on field leadership, operational accountability, and client satisfaction throughout the life of the assignment.Salary: $65 - 75k/ annuallyEssential Job Functions: DUTIES:*      Coordinate and supervise all construction activities*      Attend all project required weekly meetings*      Complete all required paperwork*      Direct field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications and Company Mission*      Coordinate material orders and schedule jobsite inspections as necessary throughout the process*      Understand the project plans, specifications and Company controls and systems*      Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately*      Ensure all employees and contractors are adhering to the Company Safety Policy*      Maintain construction schedule, identify and solve problems and forecast manpower, material and equipment*      Manage and track field production rates*      Prepare and update Onsite Job Book*      Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees*      Prepare, schedule and supervise completion of a final punch list*      Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office*      Coordinate, coach and provide training to foremen and leads on supervisory/leadership skills, material handling and usage, and tasks to be performed*      Work with Human Resources to perform employee performance evaluations and enforce employee encouragement and discipline*      Communicate project progress to stakeholders*      Reinforce the principles of Ownership Thinking COMPETENCIES: *      Must be able to improve projects and company operations by recommending better methods, staffing and procedural changes.*      Must listen to directions and suggestions from supervisors or other employees regarding safe and proper work practices.
