These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesOptimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype to full production.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process, equipment, and material.Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.Implement and promote Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, automation, welding).Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Bonus QualificationsPLC/Robotics programming experienceLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or MES softwareProficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Job Titles That Should ApplyManufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Production Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Lean Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Process Engineer, Automation Engineer, Manufacturing Operations EngineerWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
