Lead Engineer

Lead Engineer role focused on the automated receivables product as part of the US Corporate expansion. Qualifications Java11 or higher SpringBoot REST APISecurity JPA Oracle CI/CD Pipelines Kafka/JMS/MQ Angular JUnit/Mockito API Gateways Financial domains Containers/cloud development Designing and building scalable, resilient backend systems using Java (SpringBoot) Developing user interfaces with Angular; design and integrate RESTful APIs Applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) DevOps practices Docker for containerization Messaging middleware and databases for scalable solutions Additional Skills Ability to provide guidance and knowledge to engineering teams to ensure best practices and technical excellence Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and trusted point of contact for the development team Experience with designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned technology solutions Key critical skills may include risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills. Location: Whippany, NJ office. Minimum Salary: $170,000 Maximum Salary: $230,000 Salary information includes only base salary. Purpose of the role To design, develop and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contributing to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
