Sales Assistant
Position SummarySTS is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our whole goods sales and leasing and rental operations. This is an entry-level position with significant room for growth for the right candidate.The Sales Assistant works closely with the sales team and sales leadership to support the administrative side of trailer, truck, and truck equipment transactions across all STS locations. This role also owns leasing and rental billing and collections, serving as the point of contact for ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payment on STS’s lease and rental accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support — Whole Goods (Trailer, Truck & Truck Equipment):Assist the sales team with administrative tasks related to trailer, truck, and truck equipment transactions across all locationsHelp prepare, organize, and file sales-related documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and deal jacketsSupport the coordination of incoming orders and assist with tracking delivery schedulesAssist with customer delivery coordination, ensuring all required paperwork is completed and customers receive all necessary documentationMaintain accurate customer and account information in internal systems, including Flyntlok and other platformsSupport DMV paperwork processing and cross-train as backup for title and registration functionsRun reports and compile sales activity summaries as directed by sales leadershipLeasing & Rental Support:Own the billing and collections process for leasing and rental accountsGenerate and distribute accurate lease and rental invoices on the established billing cycleMonitor accounts receivable for leasing and rental customers and follow up on outstanding balances in a timely mannerCommunicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and account discrepanciesCoordinate with the accounting team to ensure lease and rental payments are accurately recorded and appliedMaintain organized records of lease and rental agreements, billing history, and collections activityAdministrative Support:Manage inbound calls, emails, and internal requests related to sales and leasing and rental activityAssist with document preparation, filing, and record maintenance across the sales departmentSupport scheduling, follow-ups, and internal coordination as directedAssist with maintaining and updating standard operating procedures for tasks performedProvide cross-functional administrative support as needed across departmentsOther projects and activities as assignedCross-Functional Support & TrainingEntry-level candidates encouraged to applyPrior administrative or office experience a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Teams)Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow established processesClear communication skills and willingness to learn
