The Mundy Companies, a Leader In The Industrial Maintenance, Services, And Construction Fields, Is Currently Hiring The Following For a Long-term Position In The Houston, Texas AreaWAREHOUSE TECHNICIANWarehouse Technicians perform any combination of tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within warehouses and/or onsite facilities.Major Duties And ResponsibilitiesReads work order, shipping order, or requisition order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedConveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or forkliftSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, color, or product codeFills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and other stock itemsMay also distribute toolsRecords materials or items received and distributedMay be responsible for inventory and inventory controlMay be required to load or unload materials from trucks, trailers, or rail carsMay be required to manually package 80 lb bales of rubber into various containersWork in warehouse/finishing building in high and low temperature environmentsWork 12 hour rotating shifts (6AM-6PM rotating days/nights, including holidays and weekendsThe successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner.
