If you are driven to deliver exceptional fan experiences that are beyond anything possible elsewhere and interested in working alongside a team of innovators and enthusiastic over-achievers, you will enjoy working with us!There are two exciting opportunities to join the Atlanta Braves Grounds Crew staff!Grounds Crew (Gameday Staff), Atlanta BravesResponsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:Assist with the operation and upkeep of the playing surfacePre-game and post-game preparationAssist in rain delay proceduresBaseball Specific: Clay areas and grass to skin transitionSafely perform all duties and responsibilitiesWork with supervisor to obtain goalsAll other duties as assignedPhysical Demands:Must have the ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and deal with all kinds of weather conditions. Seasonal Grounds Crew (Day Staff), Atlanta BravesResponsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:Daily maintenance of a Major League Baseball fieldOperation and daily maintenance of all equipment related to field maintenanceMaintenance of all batting cages, field screens, and enclosed hitting tunnelsDaily cleaning of field, dugouts, bullpens, maintenance shop, and all equipmentPerform all pre- and post-game field preparationsSafely operates a light tractor, mower, and small gasoline-powered machinerySafely operate such tools as edge trimmers, sprayers, sod cutters, line markers, and various hand toolsPerforms routine maintenance on all equipmentPulls all field-related equipment, to and from the field, when neededPulls all field tarps, on and off-field, when neededPerforms all other job duties as required by SupervisorJob Requirements:Experience in maintaining natural grass athletic fields is preferred, but not requiredExperience in the operation of utility carts, mowers, tractors, and other gasoline-powered equipment is preferred, but not requiredMust have the ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)Ability to perform light to heavy physical activity and work under adverse weather conditionsAbility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and if necessary, work long hours, and on-call when needed and Flexible hoursGameday and other event (i.e., concerts, corporate events, clinics) responsibilitiesMust be able to work scheduled hoursThe Atlanta National League Baseball Club, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
