🚘 NOW HIRING: Hardware Test Automation Engineer📍 Foster City, CA (Hybrid)💰 Up to $99.26/hr📄🤝 Long-term ContractNo sponsorship or C2C🧠 Autonomous Vehicle IndustryWe’re partnering with an industry-leading autonomous mobility company to hire a highly skilled Hardware Test Automation Engineer to support cutting-edge self-driving vehicle technologies.This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with advanced compute platforms, sensors, firmware, and hardware systems that power the future of autonomous transportation.🔹 What You’ll Be Doing:• Develop Python automation frameworks, scripts, and libraries for hardware validation• Design and execute automated tests for compute hardware, sensors, and firmware• Build hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and system-level test environments• Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, and Systems Engineering teams• Create tools for post-processing, visualization, and analysis of test data• Support prototype and production testing initiatives• Drive software quality, automation best practices, and scalable validation workflows🔹 What We’re Looking For:✔️ BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field✔️ 5+ years of Python development experience✔️ 3+ years testing electronics in a lab environment✔️ Experience with PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar automation frameworks✔️ Strong understanding of concurrent programming (threads/queues)✔️ Experience with hardware validation and automated test infrastructure⭐ Bonus Skills:• CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP protocols• Embedded Linux, Bash, or C/C++• Git, Jira, Bamboo, Polarion, or TestRail• Static analysis tools such as PyLint and Black📍 Onsite in Foster City, CA• 5 days onsite during training• Hybrid schedule afterward (minimum 3 onsite days/week)Interview Process:📞 30-Minute Hiring Manager Zoom👥 1.5 Hour Panel Interview (onsite)If you’re passionate about autonomous systems, automation, and solving complex hardware challenges, let’s connect.📩 Apply now or message me directly for more details.
