Location: Kennestone, GA
Shift: Day Shift | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM| AND Night shift
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hrs/week
Job Duration- 13weeks (with possible extension)(BI02)
Weekends: Every other weekend
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Acute Care Float role to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units. The RN will function as a proactive member of the interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practice, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication to support safe and effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized patient care using the nursing process
Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care across diverse populations
Coordinate and document safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in shared governance
Advocate for patients and families throughout the care continuum
Support quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and patient safety initiatives
Serve as a preceptor or mentor as needed
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN required; BSN preferred)
Active RN License (GA single-state or compact)
BLS – Required
ACLS, NIHSS – Preferred
Experience with IV Heparin administration – Required
Ability to float across acute care units
