RN – Acute Care Float | Days and Night Location: Kennestone, GA Shift: Day Shift | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM| AND Night shift Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hrs/week Job Duration- 13weeks (with possible extension)(BI02) Weekends: Every other weekend Job Summary Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Acute Care Float role to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units. The RN will function as a proactive member of the interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practice, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication to support safe and effective patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized patient care using the nursing process Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care across diverse populations Coordinate and document safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in shared governance Advocate for patients and families throughout the care continuum Support quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and patient safety initiatives Serve as a preceptor or mentor as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN required; BSN preferred) Active RN License (GA single-state or compact) BLS – Required ACLS, NIHSS – Preferred Experience with IV Heparin administration – Required Ability to float across acute care units Keywords RN Acute Care, Float Nurse, Med Surg RN, Hospital RN, Day Shift RN, IV Heparin, ACLS RN, NIHSS, Acute Care Nursing, Patient-Centered Care Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour Application Question(s): Email id ?
