Carrier Sales Representative
We are a 3rd Party Logistics company based in Schererville, IN and are looking for a Carrier Sales Representative to work on site Monday – Friday.
We have a couple of anchor accounts through our 3rd Party Office and a sales staff at our parent company that will have opportunities coming in for brokering loads.
Responsibilities:
1. Finding and Vetting carriers that are within our company’s compliance guidelines
2. Maintaining good relationships with customers and carriers
3. Coordinate Pick up and delivery schedules
4. Actively seek new business opportunities
5. Track and Trace all loads – We have a proprietary system too help.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in supply chain management, other related field or knowledge of the transportation industry is preferred
2. Strong relationship and communication skills
3. Able to Negotiate with customers and carriers
4. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
5. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
6. Good Computer skills – use of transportation software and programs will be valued.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
