Fall 2026 Capital Management Analyst Intern
The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12 week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Rotation dates: August 17 - December 4.
Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status).
Responsibilities
Provide financial, analytical, and general support to supervisor in reviewing, analyzing, and modeling capital expenditure requests. Develop and communicate ad-hoc analyzes as requested. Assist department administrative assistant in supporting the department. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Learn and perform financial review of minor capital investment projects, including proposals for SPG (fuel stations installations) projects in new and existing stores
Prepare miscellaneous spreadsheets and financial analyses
Assist with workflow from other members of the department, including working with the Executive Assistant during peak times
Light administrative work including filing, maintaining file integrity, sending and receiving documentation, and verification of document accuracy
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
Minimum
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Real Estate
Must be a sophomore or higher
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Previously worked in a corporate office
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office products
