Lead Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as a solid understanding of food safety and handling practices. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing inventory, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies and equipment. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations. Operate POS systems (Aloha, Micros) efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining accountability for all sales. Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions. Requirements Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests. Proficient in time management and multitasking in a high-pressure environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation methods is a plus. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices related to food handling. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
