This position supports laboratory-based and operationally relevant systems across research and applied DoD programs.This position is suited for early career engineers developing foundational systems engineering skills and PNT domain knowledge. The engineer will work under the guidance of senior engineers to support concept development, prototyping, hardware integration, testing, and analysis of PNT capabilities in laboratory and field environments for offensive and defensive systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with development of system requirements, interfaces, and test plansSupport laboratory setup, configuration, and execution of PNT experiments and evaluationsSupport integration of hardware, software, and test infrastructureAssist with hardware- and software-in-the-loop test activitiesCollect, analyze, and document test data to support system assessment and algorithm evaluationSupport coordination between software, hardware, and test teamsDocument system configurations, test procedures, and results to support technical reviews and deliverablesParticipate in team technical interchange meetings to describe technical activities, progress, issues, improvements, and moreRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications Theory, or a related technical discipline0–2 years of engineering experienceFoundational understanding of systems engineering principles and system integration conceptsAbility to work in laboratory or test environments supporting integrated systemsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearanceDesired QualificationsStrong verbal and written communications skillsAcademic or project experience supporting system integration, testing, or evaluationExposure to PNT or other laboratory environments or test campaignsFamiliarity with basic modeling, simulation, or data analysis toolsExperience supporting DoD-related research or prototyping effortsBasic Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (For Beavercreek, OH Only)The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Belong, Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
