We offer: • Competitive salary • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and holidays • Ongoing professional development opportunities • Company-paid life insurance • Company-paid Employee Assistance Program Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Resident Clinical Care Oversight: Supervise and coordinate personal care, clinical services, and medication delivery to ensure quality care and compliance with state regulations and company standards. • Care Planning & Assessments: Complete resident assessments, develop individualized care plans, monitor changes in condition, and coordinate follow-up interventions as needed. • Medication Management: Oversee medication systems, ensure Medication Aides are properly trained, verify Medication Administration Records (MARs), and maintain safe medication storage and disposal procedures. • Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, train, coach, and supervise care staff to ensure excellent performance, accountability, and compassionate resident support. • Family & Physician Communication: Serve as a liaison between residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers regarding resident care needs and changes in condition. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, OSHA standards, infection control procedures, and resident rights regulations. • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance initiatives, audit resident records, review incident reports, and support continuous improvement efforts. • Scheduling & Staffing Support: Assist with staffing schedules, hiring qualified team members, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels. • Supplies & Inventory: Coordinate ordering and inventory of nursing, infection control, and resident care supplies. • Emergency Preparedness: Support emergency procedures, disaster preparedness, resident safety protocols, and response planning. Qualifications • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment • Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience preferred • Leadership or supervisory experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare preferred • Experience caring for seniors and individuals with cognitive decline preferred • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly • Knowledge of medication administration systems and clinical best practices • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times • Valid driver's license and ability to meet background and health screening requirements Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, move, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout the workday • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations If you're a skilled and caring nurse who thrives in a leadership role and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, apply today to join ALG Senior as a Registered Nurse (RN)!
