Commercial Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning a project from start to finish, stays organized under pressure, and understands how all the moving parts of a construction project fit together.
The right candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects running smoothly and successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Manage mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project requirements
Schedule and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
Provide regular project updates and address issues as they arise
Identify potential risks early and work toward practical solutions
Oversee material, equipment, and service procurement
Manage punch lists, closeout documents, and final project deliverables
Utilize construction management software to track project progress
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and contractual obligations
Qualifications
Experience managing mechanical construction projects is strongly preferred
Minimum of 3 years of Project Manager experience
Minimum of 3 years working in the construction industry
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
