As a Content & Social Media Intern at Soko Glam, you'll play an integral role in supporting our day-to-day content creation, community engagement, and campaign execution across key platforms like Instagram and TikTok.You'll collaborate closely with the marketing team to bring our brand voice to life online, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in content planning, social storytelling, and trendspotting. This role is ideal for someone creative, organized, and social media-savvy who's eager to build skills in digital marketing and brand communications.The spring internship program will run for approximately 12 weeks. This is a paid, part-time internship with an hourly rate of $17 and an anticipated time commitment of approximately 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday). This role is based out of our NYC Headquarters (hybrid role, up to 4x per week in-office dependent on school schedule).Key ResponsibilitiesPitching, filming, and editing social content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Paid Ads, and other platformsPromote current brand initiatives and promotional campaigns through engaging, on-brand social content that drives awareness and site traffic.Monitor and engage with our social media community in a brand-aligned, timely, and thoughtful wayPitch social trends and stay on the pulse of influencer content and competitive activity for weekly content ideationSupport content shoots and help organize visual assetsTrack performance metrics and contribute to post-campaign reporting and insightsQualificationsAble to work on-site at our Dumbo, Brooklyn office a few days per weekStrong written and visual communication skillsDeep familiarity with social platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, and YouTubeProficiency in social content creation and editingConfident on camera with strong storytelling skilsCreative thinker with a pulse on digital culture and emerging trendsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasksProactive, collaborative, and excited to learnInterest in K-beauty, skincare, and/or lifestyle brands is a plusComfortable using tools like Capcut, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”) Employer.
