Job DescriptionA well-established General Contractor is looking to hire in the Atlanta market and surrounding areas.This opening is tied directly to a live ground-up commercial construction need already underway.They are looking for someone who can step into active work, take ownership, and keep projects aligned from preconstruction through closeout.Position OverviewThis team operates with structure. Communication between field and office is aligned, expectations are clear, and projects move the way they should. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants real ownership, active work, and long-term runway with a respected builder.What You Will Be Working OnGround-up and renovation commercial constructionOffice, retail, industrial, healthcare, education, and related commercial work depending on backgroundActive builds already underwayProjects typically in the $10M to $50M rangeWhat You BringExperience taking projects from preconstruction through closeoutStrong budget management, cost control, and forecastingAbility to keep subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams aligned to scheduleExperience handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, billings, and project documentationClear communication with owners, architects, engineers, and field teamsAbility to step into active work and operate with accountabilityResponsibilitiesManage all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeoutMaintain project budgets, schedules, and cost trackingCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teamsOversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billingsSupport procurement, schedule updates, forecasting, and overall project flowEnsure projects remain on schedule and within budgetQualifications5+ years of commercial construction project management experienceExperience managing projects from preconstruction through closeoutGround-up and/or renovation commercial experience preferredGC-side experience preferredStrong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencingProject experience aligned with the company's project type, size, and scopeStable work history preferredBachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is a plus, but equivalent experience will also be consideredOnly candidates with relevant construction experience aligned with the role's project type, scope, and responsibilities will be consideredSpanish/English bilingual is a plus (required in bilingual-specific postings)Preferred Experience / SoftwareProcoreBluebeamMS Project and/or Primavera P6CMiC or Autodesk Build is a plusLocation / FlexibilityLocal candidates are preferredStrong relocators with highly relevant experience will still be consideredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation aligned with experience, project scope, and current market conditionsComplete benefits packageBonus opportunityLong-term growth potentialNext StepOur client is ready to hire immediately.
