Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

A world-leading engineering and staffing services company is looking for talented individuals to join their dynamic team, supporting critical projects across various sectors.The Role Design, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for high availability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence, utilizing hands-on experience with AWS services and DevOps best practices. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) and support containerized workloads (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes). Implement observability, monitoring, and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party tools. Ensure systems meet security, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 2, etc.). Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to facilitate smooth releases and troubleshoot system performance issues.What You'll Need Ship is required and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. 6+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation. Expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM, etc.). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK). Strong development background in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
