Duties
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients based on medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits.
Develop personalised care plans that address individual nutritional requirements and health goals.
Provide expert advice on dietary modifications to manage medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, or allergies.
Educate patients and their families about proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional strategies into overall treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, care plans, and patient interactions in compliance with organisational policies.
Stay updated with the latest research and developments in nutrition science to provide evidence-based recommendations.
Requirements
Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field recognised by relevant professional bodies.
Proven experience working as a Dietitian or in a similar healthcare role is desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex nutritional information to diverse audiences.
Ability to develop clear and practical care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up procedures.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
