Chief Growth Officer
OverviewLead and own the full growth engine of the company by driving customer engagement, market expansion, pipeline development, capture discipline, proposal execution, and win performance across the enterprise.This role is accountable for the true front end of the business, from market engagement and opportunity identification through proposal submission and successful award.It is a market-facing, externally engaged role that requires broad understanding of multiple customer sets, disciplined business development execution, and the ability to translate company capabilities into growth.Core FunctionsMarket Engagement & Customer DevelopmentServe as the senior external face of the company for growth-related activity across customer setsBuild and maintain executive-level relationships across priority federal and adjacent marketsEnsure the company is engaged in the right conversations, with the right customers, at the right timeExpand the company's visibility and relevance beyond its current customer concentrationOpportunity Identification & Pipeline DevelopmentOwn the development of a healthy, forward-looking pipeline aligned to company strategyEnsure pipeline development reflects both core capabilities and adjacent market opportunitiesDrive disciplined opportunity identification based on strategic fit, customer demand, and growth potentialBuild a pipeline that supports both near-term awards and long-term market positioningCapture LeadershipLead and enforce a structured capture process across strategic pursuitsEnsure each opportunity has a clear win strategy, teaming approach, customer contact plan, and competitive positionDrive disciplined qualification, pursuit prioritization, and bid/no-bid decision-makingMaintain leadership visibility into pipeline progression, risk, and capture readinessProposal Ownership & Win ExecutionOwn the front-end process through proposal submission and award pursuitEnsure proposals are aligned to customer priorities, clear differentiators, competitive pricing, and strong execution credibilityDrive proposal discipline, schedule accountability, and cross-functional coordination required to submit winning bidsMaintain accountability for proposal quality, submission readiness, and overall win postureStrategic PartneringIdentify and cultivate partnerships that expand customer access, strengthen capability positioning, and improve win probabilityShape teaming strategies that support both immediate pursuits and broader market entryEnsure partnerships are deliberate, value-creating, and aligned to the company's long-term growth objectivesGrowth Discipline & Operating RigorEstablish and enforce a repeatable growth operating model, including gates, metrics, reviews, and accountabilityAlign business development activity to measurable pipeline and win objectivesEnsure growth is run with the same rigor as financial and operational performanceDrive transparency around pipeline health, capture effectiveness, proposal throughput, and growth conversionLeadership ExpectationsThis is not an internal coordination role.
