The OT participates a member of the interdisciplinary team, assesses for appropriate DME, and assists with 24 hour care coordination.Qualifications -Education/Experience: Graduate of an Occupational Therapist curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association; be eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association and have achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Pubic Health Services. 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist and 1 year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred.Ability to demonstrate clinical competency with client-centered services to geriatric populationMust be able to work under pressureMust meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by PHSC and approved by CMS before working independently.Excellent teamwork and collaboration philosophy and skillLicensure, Registry or Certification Required: Licensed Occupational Therapist in NC. Valid NC driver's license and vehicle.Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.Pay Range: $71,088 to $95,536 (commensurate with years of experience)EEO Statement
