Forklift Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the maintenance and repairs to Menard owned equipment. The hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Perform mechanical repairs to all types of forklifts (electric, LP and diesel), order selectors, floor sweepers and scrubbers.* Diagnose equipment problems.* Troubleshoot mechanical issues.* Perform accurate and timely equipment repairs including preventative maintenance.* Look for additional repairs beyond what's listed.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:* Have 3-5 years of direct mechanical experience or an accredited technician degree* Provide their own tools* Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to multitask* Parts knowledge* Must be able to take direction from management* Must be able to work independently* Able to lift 40lbs. occasionally
