Maintenance Engineer
Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Engineer operates, repairs and maintains hospital and associated buildings’ physical plants and equipment in a safe, cost effective and industry accepted manner, assures a safe and reliable facility to provide services. Operates and repairs and maintains facility boiler room equipment and HVAC equipment.The Maintenance Engineer also performs routine and emergency repairs on equipment within the facility.Work Schedule1.0 FTE - 40 hoursHours are: 6:00am - 2:30pm M-F; Call rotation every 4th week. During this week, the hours are 9:00am - 5:30pmThe primary responsibility for this position is supporting the Westfields Hospital site, including on-call coverage. Additionally, this role will provide support at other HealthPartners St. Croix Valley locations as operational needs arise.Required Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. State of Minnesota 2B Boiler operator license or equivalent or one year experience operating high pressure boilers up to 50 max horse-power Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Post high school technical diploma, associate’s degree, or journeyman in a building trade, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, Industrial Maintenance, engineering, or similar program. One year experience in the operation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in a healthcare setting.
