Retail Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and promote our products will be key to your success in this position. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and cash register. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Uphold company policies regarding phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone. Skills Proven experience in retail sales with a strong focus on customer service. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Familiarity with product demonstrations and the ability to convey product benefits clearly. Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries professionally. Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is a plus. Ability to sell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems efficiently. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
