Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in developing and enhancing SAP applications supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Close-to-Report (C2R) business processes.This role involves designing, developing, and supporting custom ABAP solutions, modern S/4HANA development using CDS Views, RAP, OData, SAP Workflows, Interfaces, and SAP BTP while following SAP Clean Core development principles.Required Skills & Experience8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.Strong experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.Experience supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including Sales & Distribution (SD), Billing, Credit Management, and Revenue Recognition.Experience supporting Close-to-Report (C2R) processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Tax.Experience with at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or conversion project.Strong understanding of SAP development standards, performance optimization, and Clean Core architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP ABAP DevelopmentDesign, develop, and enhance ABAP RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.Develop Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, ALV Reports, and Object-Oriented ALV programs.Build Module Pool applications, Dialog Programming, and Custom Transactions.Develop and enhance User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots, and Enhancement Framework objects.Develop Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAPScript, and output management solutions.Create custom validations, substitutions, derivations, and business rule-based enhancements.S/4HANA DevelopmentDevelop upgrade-safe SAP solutions following SAP S/4HANA Clean Core principles.Utilize released SAP APIs, BADIs, CDS Views, and RAP-based services.Perform code optimization, ATC checks, Code Inspector reviews, and performance tuning.Prepare technical design documentation and development specifications.ABAP CDS & Embedded AnalyticsDesign and develop Basic, Composite, Consumption, and Interface CDS Views.Develop CDS Views with annotations, associations, parameters, authorization controls, and metadata extensions.Build CDS-based reporting, analytical models, and OData services.Optimize CDS performance using HANA best practices, AMDP, and Table Functions.RAP & OData DevelopmentDevelop SAP applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).Build Managed and Unmanaged RAP Business Objects.Develop OData V2 and OData V4 services.Implement validations, determinations, actions, feature controls, and authorization checks.Develop Fiori-ready services and reusable APIs.Workflow DevelopmentConfigure and enhance SAP Flexible Workflow solutions.Develop workflow tasks, events, approvals, notifications, escalations, and agent determination.Troubleshoot workflow issues and support workflow monitoring.Interfaces & IntegrationDesign and develop inbound and outbound integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Proxy Interfaces, SOAP, REST APIs, and OData services.Support SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and SAP Integration Suite integrations.Develop interface monitoring, logging, error handling, and reprocessing solutions.Support EDI integrations and API-based connectivity with external systems.SAP BTP & ExtensionsDevelop side-by-side extensions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).Work with Business Application Studio, HTML5 Application Repository, and SAP Event Mesh.Collaborate on extension strategies aligned with SAP Clean Core architecture.SAP Fiori & User ExperienceSupport SAP Fiori applications and SAP Build Work Zone integrations.Develop and enhance OData services for Fiori applications.Work with UI integration and embedded analytics.
