Associate Engineer

Job Title: Associate EngineerLocation: Rockford, IL – OnsiteJob Description:We are looking for an Associate Engineer with a strong engineering background to support supplier requests, corrective actions, engineering drawing redlines, and change requests. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and experience working with engineering teams and technical documentation.Key Responsibilities· Review and track Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs).· Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on corrective actions.· Lead and support reviews of corrective actions with engineering leadership.· Review and update engineering drawings through redline markups based on customer specifications.· Manage Change Requests (CRs) for engineering drawing revision updates.· Coordinate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of technical requests.· Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revision information.Required Skills· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.· Experience with engineering drawings and redline markups.· Knowledge of Supplier Requests for Information (SRI/RFI).· Experience with Change Requests (CR), ECR, or ECO processes.· Experience coordinating corrective actions.· Strong communication and coordination skills.· Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.· Aerospace or manufacturing engineering experience is a plus.· CAD, configuration management, or engineering documentation experience is preferred.
