As a Contract Home Infusion Nurse, you are often the primary clinical presence for patients receiving therapy outside traditional care settings.In this role, you'll contribute to work that:Helps patients safely receive infusion therapies in the comfort of their homesSupports continuity of care through expert assessment, monitoring, and educationBuilds confidence for patients and caregivers navigating complex treatmentsAdvances a patient-first, clinician-led approach to specialty infusion careYour work allows patients to focus on healing - knowing their care is handled with precision and compassion.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:Administer, monitor, and discontinue intravenous therapies in patient homes or infusion suite settingsInsert and manage IV access including peripheral lines, PICCs, ports, and midlinesMonitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to changes in conditionPerform venipuncture and collect blood samples as orderedComplete comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs, and reviews of systemsEducate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, line care, and symptom monitoringTeach patients and caregivers how to safely perform and monitor home infusion when applicableCoordinate visit schedules and communicate visit outcomes with clinical and operations teamsAccurately document all patient care, medications administered, and patient responsesCommunicate concerns promptly to physicians and internal clinical leadershipUphold confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards in accordance with all state and federal regulationsWhat We're Looking ForYou may be a great fit if you bring:Strong clinical judgment and comfort practicing independentlyCalm, empathetic communication with patients and caregiversFlexibility and professionalism in a contracted, visit-based roleConfidence delivering IV therapy outside acute care environmentsPride in delivering high-quality, patient-centered careRequired QualificationsNursing degree from an accredited college or universityCurrent, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practiceMinimum of two (2) years of RN experienceIV certification and experience with central line care and managementCPR certificationValid state driver's license and reliable transportationWillingness to travel to patient homes and healthcare facilitiesExperience with patient documentation and care coordinationBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systemsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in nursingRN licensure in additional statesPrior experience in home infusion, critical care, emergency nursing, ambulatory infusion centers, or hospital discharge planningPICC, port, and midline experience and certificationYou don't need to check every box - we care just as much about how you care for patients as where you've worked before.Why LUX InfusionAt LUX Infusion, we believe care deserves more light - more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.As a contract nurse, you'll find:Purpose-driven clinical work with immediate patient impactFlexible, visit-based schedulingAutonomy while supported by strong clinical and operational teamsClear standards, documentation expectations, and supportMeaningful one-on-one patient relationshipsCome help deliver infusion care where it matters most - and see what's possible when care comes first.BioMatrix Pay Range/Rate$30-$100 USDPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
