We use applied research and development combined with novel systems integration to enhance capabilities of our armed forces.Position: Software Systems EngineerLocation: Auburn, AL, Aberdeen, MDJob Type: Full-timeJob Description: IS4S is seeking a Software Systems Engineer in Auburn, AL or Aberdeen, MD to assist development and integration of software solutions supporting Army and Joint warfighting functions. The person or persons filling this position will join an existing, multi-disciplinary team to perform system engineering activities involving software architecture design, creating use cases and user stories, requirements definition, capturingimplementations, creating test plans, validating performance, and change management. Responsibilities includeAssist managing the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenanceSolve complex integration problems, leveraging existing solutions and developing new code as necessaryDevelop and maintain comprehensive integration documentation, including design specifications, field mappings, test plans, user guides, and architecture diagramsConduct integration testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrityVerify solutions adhere to data security and access requirementsCommunicating and interacting with customers, stakeholders, and other companiesThe challenges facing our nation are constantly evolving. They will be given freedom to solve problems and develop solutions with the expectation of owning their tasks and responsibilities.
